The 3rd Day of the Omer

Today is the 3rd day of the Omer.  I just realized that there may be some of you that might not know what an omer is.  An omer is an ancient Hebrew measure; more specifically, it is one-tenth of an ephah, that was used in dry measure.  Some people estimate that it was about 2 quarts.  Oh my head is spinning!  I am definitely not a math person.  Chad, please grab the calculator!

I hope all this math is helping to exercise your brain!  Have a wonderful High Sabbath as it is also the last day of the Feast of Unleavened Bread.  Here's a picture and Bible verse to help you with your count!

 Psalms 119: 17-24 (KJV)

Gimel.
Deal bountifully with thy servant, that I may live, and keep thy word.
Open thou mine eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of thy law.
I am a stranger in the earth: hide not thy commandments from me.
My soul breaketh for the longing that it hath unto thy judgments at all times.
Thou hast rebuked the proud that are cursed, which do err from thy commandments.
Remove from me reproach and contempt; for I have kept thy testimonies.
Princes also did sit and speak against me: but thy servant did meditate in thy statutes. Thy testimonies also are my delight and my counselors.
