Annie Johnson

I've been volunteering at a no kill shelter walking dogs and cleaning out kennel cages.  Here's a picture of a lovely foxhound mix named Paisely.  I've renamed her Annie Johnson.  If she was my dog, that is what I would call her.  She reminds me a lot of Katie, my dog who passed away.  When she first came in, she was all skin and bones.  You could see her hip bones and her rib cage.  She was very subdued and quiet.  After being at the shelter, she has become such a lively dog.  She's happy, full of energy, and she's gaining weight.  I wish I could adopt her.  I can't so I'm doing the next best thing.  I pray for her, asking the Lord to match her with a good owner.  Here are some pictures of us together!

Isaiah 65:25 (ESV)

The wolf and the lamb shall graze together; the lion shall eat straw like the ox, and dust shall be the serpent's food. They shall not hurt or destroy in all my holy mountain,” says the Lord.
