The 40th Day of the Omer

Today is the 40th day of the Omer.  Chad and I went to a shoe store and bought a pair of tennis shoes.  I bought Saucony and Chad bought Asics.  We're hoping to do a lot more walking during the summer.

 Can you believe that we've made it 40 days in the counting of the omer?  We are getting near to Shavuot!  Don't grow weary- keep counting!

Psalm 100: 1-5 (KJV)

Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all ye lands.

Serve the Lord with gladness: come before his presence with singing.

 Know ye that the Lord he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.

 Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.
