The 46th Day of the Omer

Today is the 46th day of the Omer.  Chad and I decided to take a break from walking today to give our legs some time to recover.  I don't know if my body was just in shock, but I could not fall asleep until about 5a.m. this morning and then I woke up at 7a.m.  I think my body was confused and didn't know what to do after such a long walk.

We're planning on walking again tomorrow, probably only for a mile or two or maybe four!  We'll see how we feel then.

Are you getting excited?  It's almost Shavuot.  Aren't you glad you've been keeping up with counting the omer?  I know I am.

Psalm 128: 1-6 (KJV)

Blessed is every one that feareth the Lord; that walketh in his ways.
For thou shalt eat the labour of thine hands: happy shalt thou be, and it shall be well with thee.
Thy wife shall be as a fruitful vine by the sides of thine house: thy children like olive plants round about thy table.
Behold, that thus shall the man be blessed that feareth the Lord.
The Lord shall bless thee out of Zion: and thou shalt see the good of Jerusalem all the days of thy life.
Yea, thou shalt see thy children's children, and peace upon Israel.
